With just one win in their past four matches, defending champion Chile faces a tough road as they enter this month’s Copa America Centenario at +700 odds to win the tournament at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Chileans dominated as the host nation at the 2015 Copa America, surrendering just four total goals en route to their first tournament title, culminating in a victory over Argentina in the final.

La Roja must contend once again with Argentina, which enters the tournament as a +185 favourite on the Copa America Centenario odds, and whom they must face in the opening match of Group D action.

The Argentines are undefeated in nine outings, and are -110 favourites to avenge their loss in last year’s final ahead of Monday’s Argentina vs. Chile matchup at Levi’s Stadium.

Winners of four Copa America titles between 1997 and 2007, Brazil enters this year’s tournament closely trailing Argentina on the futures at +450.

Brazil is undefeated in eight of their past nine matches but have been a major disappointment in tournament action since their triumph at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, failing to get past the quarterfinals in their past two Copa America appearances and settling for a fourth-place finish at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

This year’s tournament host, the United States, joins the front of the pack in Copa America Centenario betting at +800.

The Americans last competed in the tournament in 2007 when they failed to get past the group stage after getting blown out in three straight games, including losses to Paraguay and Colombia, whom they will face again in group stage action at this year’s event.

With +900 odds to win the tournament, Colombia gets the nod as a serious upset candidate at Copa America according to the soccer experts at OddsShark.com.

Los Cafeteros have scored three times in each of their three matches this year and are undefeated in their last three games against the Americans, whom they also closely trail in Group A betting with strong +150 odds.

Despite winning a record 15 Copa America titles Uruguay failed to earn a top seed at this year’s tournament but remains an intriguing option at +1000 on the futures, just ahead of Mexico, which sports +1100 odds.

Ecuador is next at a distant +2500, followed by Costa Rica at +5000, Paraguay and Peru at +6600, Venezuela at +10000, Bolivia and Panama at +15000, and Jamaica at +20000, while Haiti sits as a +50000 longshot.
