FRANKFURT, Germany — Croatia defender Gordon Schildenfeld is leaving Eintracht Frankfurt to join Dynamo Moscow.

The Moscow club says Schildenfeld received a three-year contract.

Dynamo’s new coach is Slaven Bilic, who guided Croatia at the European Championship last month.

Schildenfeld’s departure leaves Frankfurt in dire need of a defender. Eintracht returns to the Bundesliga this season after being promoted.
