LONDON — Crystal Palace says defender Pape Souare is in the hospital after being involved in a car crash.
Palace says the Senegal international "has sustained injuries to his thigh and jaw bone and will remain in hospital whilst he receives treatment."
Palace says the accident occurred on Sunday.
The statement says the club is "liaising closely with the hospital on his progress and we obviously wish him a speedy recovery."
