Clint Dempsey can’t stop scoring.
The U.S. men’s national team captain has been chosen to grace the cover of FIFA 15 alongside Lionel Messi.
The news is just the latest addition to what’s been a whirlwind month for the Seattle Sounders attacker. Dempsey scored twice at the World Cup, with his quick goal against Ghana entering U.S. soccer folklore.
After the U.S. bowed out of the tournament to Belgium, Dempsey returned home to appear on David Letterman and received a congratulatory phone call from president Barack Obama.
Dempsey will appear on the cover for the game’s release in both Canada and the United States. He pictured wearing his American kit on the PS4 cover and a Sounders kit on the X-box cover.
