AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — Needing a win to secure its fourth straight title, PSV Eindhoven was held to a 1-1 draw by FC Twente on Sunday in the next-to-last last round of the Dutch league.

Ajax’s match at FC Groningen was called off after small fires broke out in the stands, causing 19 people to have smoke inhalation, while one person had light burns and another broke their ankle, Mayor Jacques Wallage said.

Their condition was said to be stable.

“(It is) very distressing that this happened at a football match,” Wallage told a news conference.

If Ajax drops points in the rescheduled match Wednesday against Groningen, then PSV will be champions.

PSV leads the standings with 69 points. Ajax and NAC Breda have 63, while Twente has 59.

Blaise N’Kufo’s 22nd league goal gave Twente the lead in the 35th minute, but Jefferson Farfan swept past three defenders to score a 68th-minute equalizer from 20 meters.

Also Sunday, Frank Demouge scored twice and Said Boutahar added another goal as relegation-threatened Willem II beat Feyenoord 3-1. Andre Bahia got Feyenoord’s only goal.

Roland Lamah, Boldizsar Bodor and Anouar Hadouir all scored, while Marcel Meeuwis kicked a penalty to lead Roda JC over VVV Venlo 4-1. Karim Soltani had a 21st-minute goal for VVV.

Also, it was: Excelsior Rotterdam 1, AZ Alkmaar 1; Heracles Almelo 0, NAC Breda 1; De Graafschap 1, FC Utrecht 1; NEC Nijmegen 1, Vitesse Arnhem 0 and Roda JC 4, VVV Venlo 1.
