A petition has been created to remove FIFA’s president Sepp Blatter from office. More than 100,000 fans have signed it so far.
This petition was created following the arrests of several FIFA executives on Wednesday. The men face racketeering charges from Swiss authorities and the U.S. government.
The goal is to obtain 500,000 signatures within 24 hours to create “the world’s fastest-growing petition” before the presidential election on Friday.
Blatter has been FIFA president since June 1998.
