Fire ties Whitecaps on Nikolic’s late penalty kick

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. — Nemanja Nikolic scored on a penalty kick in the 84th minute to give the Chicago Fire a 1-1 tie with the Vancouver Whitecaps on Friday night.

Doneil Henry was called for a handball following a video review, setting up the penalty kick.

Yordy Reyna scored for Vancouver in the 53rd minute.

Chicago is 1-2-3, and Vancouver 0-4-2.<
