GRANADA, Spain — Granada has signed forward Francisco “Piti” Medina to a three-year contract after he left fellow Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.

Piti was Rayo’s leading scorer with 18 goals last season, the sixth highest total in the Spanish league.

The 32-year-old Piti is a product of Barcelona’s youth program and played for Rayo from 2007 to the end of last season.

Piti joins Manuel Iturra as Granada’s off-season reinforcements following the Chilean holding midfielder’s transfer from Malaga.
