HAMBURG, Germany — Hamburger SV central defender Slobodan Rajkovic will be out for about three weeks after tearing his right thigh muscle shortly before making a comeback to the first team.

The Bundesliga club says Rajkovic was injured in training with the under-23 team, only days before he was scheduled to return to the first squad.

Rajkovic was demoted to the under-23 side at the start of the season after a clash with striker Son Heung-min during a training session. Coach Thorsten Fink pardoned Rajkovic after a private talk on Sunday.
