BERLIN — Promoted Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin has extended coach Jos Luhukay’s contract through to 2016.
Hertha general manager Michael Preetz says the Dutchman is the club’s "architect of success" and that his consistent methods and way of integrating players represent the future of the club.
Luhukay, who joined Hertha from Augsburg last season, led the team back into the top flight after one year by winning the second division with a record 76 points.
