BERLIN — Hertha Berlin has signed German forward Sinan Kurt from Bayern Munich.
The capital-based side says the 19-year-old Kurt signed a contract through 2019 and will wear the No. 18 jersey. Both sides agreed not to reveal the transfer fee.
Hertha managing director Michael Preetz says, "Kurt is a young, very talented offensive player with a lot of potential."
Kurt, who joined Bayern from Borussia Moenchengladbach ahead of the 2014-15 season, managed just one league appearance for the senior side. Instead, he continued his development with Bayern’s under-23 and then reserve side.
