HULL, England — Marco Silva has left his position as Hull manager following the team’s relegation from the Premier League.

Hull announced Silva’s departure on Thursday, a day after the Portuguese coach met with the club’s owners.

The 39-year-old Silva signed a short-term deal in January but failed to stave off Hull’s immediate return to the second-tier League Championship.
