Impact players granted access to facilities for individual training

Montreal Impact players have been given access to the team’s practice facilities for individual training beginning on Monday, the team announced.

Quebec’s Public Health approved the return after the team’s protocol was submitted to the government.

Several clubs across MLS have been using their training facilities as the league aims to restart the 2020 season. Clubs were recently sent a letter outlining a plan for a 26-team tournament in Orlando in an effort to finish the campaign.

Quebec has been the hardest-hit province in Canada by COVID-19, with more than 46,000 confirmed cases, according to the Government of Canada.
