Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy scored for the 11th straight Premier League game on Saturday, establishing a new league record.
The England international struck in first-half to give his team a 1-0 lead against Manchester United. Bastian Schweinsteiger equalized for United later in the first half, as the teams ended up battling to a 1-1 draw.
Vardy tied the record held by former Manchester United star Ruud van Nistelrooy last week when he scored against Newcastle United.
Vardy’s scoring streak began when he found the back of the net against Bournemouth on Aug. 29.
