John Herdman wants to build passion for Canadian men’s team

Canadian men’s team coach John Herdman joined Sportsnet 650 to talk about the future of the side.

Herdman said the program has taken some positive steps forward this year, but the team’s identity is still evolving. One of his goals is trying to create a passion for the men’s team across the country.

He said that Alphonso Davies committing to Canada resulted in other young players committing, and created a sense of hope in the group.
