LONDON _ Fulham has signed Swiss midfielder Pajtim Kasami from Italian side Palermo to a four-year contract.
The 19-year-old Kasami helped Switzerland reach last month’s Under-21 European Championship final and cost an undisclosed fee.
Fulham manager Martin Jol says Kasami “is a versatile midfield player who can adapt quite easily to more than one position.”
Kasami played 24 times for Palermo as it finished eighth in last season’s Serie A. Fulham finished in the same position in England’s Premier League.
