STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Former Celtic and Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson says he will coach Swedish second-tier club Landskrona Bois.
Larsson said Monday he has signed a one-year contract with the club, which finished eighth in second-tier league Superettan last season.
The 38-year-old played for Landskrona’s southern-Sweden rivals Helsingborg in the Swedish league until November when he retired from professional football.
In 2000-01 he won the Golden Boot as Europe’s top scorer while at Celtic, where he is still known among fans as "the King of Kings."
He also helped Barcelona beat Arsenal 2-1 in the 2006 Champions League final and scored 37 goals in 106 international matches for Sweden.
