LONDON — Manchester United has drawn Tottenham in the League Cup quarter-finals in a repeat of last season’s final, while Manchester City has been paired with Arsenal.
Also, Chelsea will go to Blackburn, and Portsmouth, which has lost all five home games in the Premier League, will host Aston Villa.
Man United won a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw at Wembley in February to beat 2008 champion Tottenham.
The Man City-Arsenal match is scheduled to be played at the City of Manchester Stadium, where Gunners striker Emmanuel Adebayor was criticized for violent conduct against Robin van Persie and for an extravagant goal celebration that led to crowd trouble on Sept. 12.
City won that match 4-2.
