The official ball for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the “Telstar 18,” was revealed by Adidas on Thursday.
The ball is essentially an updated version of the original Telstar that was used in the 1960s and 1970s. The design features black gradient patterns with the 2018 logo.
The Telstar 18 was initially revealed in an Adidas event featuring Lionel Messi in Moscow on Thursday, but it was closed to the general public. The ball will be used in upcoming friendlies as the World Cup approaches this summer.
