BARCELONA, Spain — Lionel Messi insists he isn’t dwelling on Argentina’s disappointing World Cup exit.
The 23-year-old Barcelona playmaker says from Seoul that the 4-0 quarter-final loss to Germany "affected me a lot" but to "look back would be an error."
Messi did not comment on Argentina’s decision not to renew the contract of coach Diego Maradona.
Messi also welcomed the possibility of Cesc Fabregas joining the Spanish champions from Arsenal saying "if he came, he’d have no problem adapting" to the team.
Barcelona plays a team of all-stars from the South Korean league on Wednesday.
