MILAN, Italy — Palermo captain Fabrizio Miccoli is likely to miss the upcoming Serie A match against Parma because of pulled a muscle in his right thigh.
Miccoli scored the first goal in Palermo’s 2-0 victory over Fiorentina on Sunday, but was stretchered off toward the end of the first half.
Palermo has not said how long the 32-year-old Miccoli will be out for, but he will undergo further tests later this week.
Miccoli has scored four goals this season.
