Monchengladbach signs Leverkusen striker Drmic

MOENCHENGLADBACH, Germany — Borussia Monchengladbach says it has signed Switzerland striker Josip Drmic from Bundesliga rival Bayer Leverkusen.

Drmic signed a four-year deal. Details were not disclosed.

The 22-year-old striker comes as a replacement for Max Kruse, who left for Wolfsburg.

Drmic joined Leverkusen from Nuremberg in 2014, and scored six goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances, mostly from the bench.
