SCHWECHAT, Austria — Nigeria will go into the World Cup on a five-match winless streak after losing its final warmup game to Czech Republic 1-0 on Wednesday.

Czech defender Tomas Kalas scored after 25 minutes, handing Nigeria another defeat four days after its 2-1 loss to England in London.

Coach Gernot Rohr’s team has lost four out of five games since beating Poland 1-0 in March, though that includes a 3-2 defeat in an unofficial friendly against Atletico Madrid.

Nigeria will continue its training camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, Austria, before travelling to Russia on Monday. It plays Croatia in its Group D opener on June 16, with Iceland and Argentina the other opponents.

Czech Republic failed to qualify for the World Cup.
