A photo essay looking back at an epic night at Olympic Stadium that kicked off the MLS Eastern Conference final between the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC.

It was a night to remember in the Big O, with both the Montreal Impact and Toronto FC doing Canadian soccer proud with a wild five-goal outing fraught with equal parts jubilation and devastation on both sides.

After the match was delayed for 30 minutes to have the incorrect lines of the penalty boxes repainted, the sellout crowd of 61,004 fans made sure that didn’t spoil the atmosphere. Montreal came out on top 3-2, but if this first leg game is any indication, then BMO Field should be a madhouse next Wednesday.
