MADRID, Spain — Real Madrid midfielder Kaka will not play against Valladolid in Sunday’s Spanish league game due to injury.
Kaka was not included in the squad to travel to Valladolid after he strained a leg muscle in training, Real Madrid said on its Web site on Saturday.
Every other player from last weekend’s 3-2 win against Sevilla will be available.
League leader Madrid hopes to bounce back from Wednesday’s elimination from the Champions League after drawing 1-1 with Lyon for a 2-1 aggregate at the round of 16 stage.
