Relegation rivals Granada, Zaragoza play to draw

Odion Ighalo scored two goals to guide Granada to a 2-0 win at second-division Alcorcon on Sunday, giving the topflight side a commanding lead in its Copa del Rey tie.

MADRID, Spain — Granada and Zaragoza played to a 0-0 draw in a lacklustre Spanish league match featuring two teams fighting relegation on Monday.

The closest either team came to scoring was when Granada striker Odion Ighalo’s header bounced off the post from a corner taken by Mikel Rico in the 19th minute.

Granada is 16th in the standings on 27 points, one more than 17th-place Zaragoza.

Barcelona leads the league on 71 points, 13 clear of second-place Real Madrid.
