It seems like Alphonso Davies will have to wait a little longer to lock down a first-team place at Bayern Munich.
According to German publication Bild (via Bavarian Football Works), Davies was added to Bayern Munich’s reserve squad and started Sunday’s match versus Ingolstadt II. The reason for this is because he’s shown technical deficiencies in training sessions.

Davies was in the matchday squad in Bayern’s 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Saturday, although he was – yet again – an unused substitute. He’s accumulated 18 minutes across three appearances in all competitions thus far.
The 18-year-old would’ve been a potential replacement for the injured Kingsley Coman on the left wing, but Davies is clearly not an option for coach Niko Kovac at the moment.
