MUNICH, Germany — Kicker magazine says Bayern winger Arjen Robben was forced to pull out of training on Friday because of groin pain, one day after returning to the team.
There was no immediate comment from the Bundesliga leader on the report in the online edition of the publication.
On Thursday Robben had his first training session with the team since a groin operation five weeks ago. Bayern said on Wednesday that Robben’s recovery was "right on schedule."
Bayern is hoping to have Robben back for the Nov. 19 showdown against defending Bundesliga champion Borussia Dortmund.
