ROME — Brazilian midfielder Simplicio has transferred from Palermo to AS Roma.
Roma announced Tuesday that it had signed Simplicio to a three-year contract worth 1.8 million euros (C$2.3 million) per season.
Simplicio called the move "a big step up" in his career after four seasons with Palermo and two with Parma in Serie A.
