Sharman: Buffon didn’t deserve to end it like this with Italy

James Sharman joined Sportsnet 650’s The Playbook to talk World Cup qualifying and the Italian tears seen around the world.

“Italy losing at this stage is almost unthinkable,” said Sharman, while adding their group was deep and after Spain dismantled them, something went seriously wrong.

Sweden is also very good, perhaps better since Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired.
