MADRID — Defender Sergio Ramos will miss Spain’s last two European Championship qualifiers because of an injured shoulder.

The Spanish national team says Ramos will be replaced by Real Madrid teammate Nacho Fernandez for upcoming matches against Luxembourg and Ukraine.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque already had to replace Dani Carvajal, Inigo Martinez and Bruno Soriano with Villarreal defender Mario Gaspar and Athletic Bilbao pair Xabier Etxeita and Mikel San Jose because of injury.

Spain leads Group C and can clinch qualification for Euro 2016 with a win against Luxembourg on Oct. 9.
