WINNIPEG — Terran Campbell had a goal and an assist to lead Pacific FC past Valour FC 2-1 on Thursday in Canadian Premier League action.
The victory was Pacific FC’s first road win in club history and it put an end to an eight-match winless streak that stretched back to April 28.
A cross from Campbell to Victor Blasco, who powered the ball past Valour goalkeeper Mathias Janssens, gave Pacific FC a 1-0 lead.
But Tyler Attardo’s first professional goal tied the game 1-1 before halftime, making the 17-year-old the youngest goalscorer in CPL’s brief history.
In the 67th minute Campbell put PFC back in the lead for the final score.
Pacific FC will head home to host FC Edmonton on Sunday and Valour will take on HFX Wanderers FC on Wednesday.
