CARSON, Calif. — Alan Gordon scored the second of his two goals in stoppage time to help Toronto FC salvage a 2-2 draw with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night.

Juan Pablo Angel put the Galaxy ahead with a goal in the 90th minute.

Toronto answered in the waning moments of extra time when Gordon finished a volley from inside the box that found the upper-right corner of the net.

Chris Birchall scored in the second minute for the Galaxy (8-2-7), unbeaten in their last eight games.

Gordon helped Toronto (2-5-8) earn its fourth tie in the past five games. Gordon entered as a substitute in the 44th minute and finished a second-half cross from Danleigh Borman with a header to tie it at 1.
