Tomi Ameobi, Oumar Diouck lead FC Edmonton over Pacific FC

LANGFORD, B.C. — Tomi Ameobi and Oumar Diouck scored in the first half as FC Edmonton beat Pacific FC 3-1 on Sunday in Canadian Premiere League action.

Ameobi opened the scoring in the 32nd minute before Diouck doubled his team’s lead six minutes later.

Bruno Zebie also scored for FC Edmonton (2-4-2) in the 89th.

Victor Blasco replied for Pacific FC (2-5-2) in the 83rd.

Ameobi’s goal was the first in four matches for FC Edmonton after being blanked in three consecutive outings.

FC Edmonton has been on the wrong side of a clean sheet in six of its seven CPL matches this season.
