Toronto FC will continue the search for their first road victory of the 2018 MLS season when they travel to Philadelphia on Friday to take on the Union as +175 underdogs on the MLS odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Toronto blew a 3-0 lead last weekend on the way to a 3-3 draw in Columbus as a +250 underdog, marking the first point the club has earned in five road contests ahead of Friday night’s Union vs. TFC betting matchup at Talen Energy Stadium.

The Reds have been uncharacteristically lax on defence in road outings this season, surrendering 14 total goals so far, after allowing just 22 total goals on the road throughout their entire 2017 campaign. The draw, combined with Montreal’s 1-0 win over the visiting Houston Dynamo last weekend, dumped the Reds into 10th place on the Eastern Conference table, and further erodes their MLS Cup odds, which now sit at a distant +2500.

Philadelphia rides high as a +140 home favourite following a 5-0 rout of the Richmond Kickers in US Open Cup action on Tuesday night. The Union have been equally dominant in league contests on home turf, winning three straight by a combined margin of 10-4, but have failed to claim a victory over the Reds in 10 meetings since 2014, and were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw in TFC’s last visit in March 2017.

Meanwhile, the Impact will be gunning for consecutive wins for the first time since mid-March when they visit FC Dallas on Saturday night as heavy +600 underdogs. Montreal halted a four-match losing streak with last week’s win over Houston as -135 chalk, but have struggled away from Stade Saputo this season, compiling a 1-0-7 win-draw-loss record, and have been outgunned by a 14-2 overall margin in five straight road defeats.

Dallas will have its sights set on first place on the Western Conference table as they welcome the Impact as solid -235 chalk. The Toros are undefeated in seven outings including their current four-match win streak, which has moved them to within two points of first-place Sporting Kansas City in the West. Dallas has also taken two straight from Montreal, and is unbeaten in three all-time meetings with the Impact.

Also on Saturday night, the Vancouver Whitecaps welcome Orlando City to town as -140 home betting favourites. The Whitecaps impressed with a 2-1 victory over last-place Colorado as +225 underdogs last weekend, and have now picked up points in five straight matches.

Orlando romped to a 3-0 win in Miami last weekend to end a four-match slide, but is winless in three previous clashes with the Whitecaps.
