Canada’s Christine Sinclair is now the all-time international goal scoring record holder, notching the feat on Wednesday against St. Kitts and Nevis at the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship.
Sinclair scored once to open the game for Canada and tie Abby Wambach’s previous record of 184. Not longer after, she scored for a second time to make the game 4–0 and take the record solely for herself.
After the historic goal, fans across the world took to social media to congratulate Sinclair on the accomplishment.
