LONDON – An Englishman has admitted killing a Wales soccer fan outside Wembley Stadium before an international match between the countries.

Ian Mytton has pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Michael Dye, a 44-year-old Cardiff native, died from head injuries after his skull was fractured before a 2012 European Championship qualifier on Sept. 6.

The 41-year-old Mytton, who is from Worcestershire in central England, will be sentenced at the Old Bailey in London on Dec. 21.
