Werder Bremen signs defender Galvez

BREMEN, Germany — Werder Bremen has signed defender Alejandro Galvez from Rayo Vallecano on a three-year contract.

The Bundesliga club says Galvez arrives on a free transfer.

Galvez has also played for Sporting Gijon.
