Gotta See It: Wimbledon heckler dons skirt to face Clijsters serve

It’s not often that you see an athlete indulge a heckler, but that’s exactly what former world No. 1 Kim Clijsters did at Wimbledon and it resulted in what may be the most memorial moment of the Grand Slam.

During a friendly doubles match with Rennae Stubbs, Andrea Jaeger and Conchita Martinez on Friday, a fan from the stands suggested where Clijsters hit a serve. Instead of ignoring the man, identified by multiple British outlets as Chris Quinn from Ireland, the four-time major champion invited him onto the court to face her serve.

The situation went from funny to downright hysterical when, in line with Wimbledon rules, Clijsters found some tennis whites for the man to wear, including a skirt. Let’s just say they were a bit… snug.
