Genie Bouchard and her Twitter fan date are going back to where it all began, the Super Bowl.

The tennis star and University of Missouri student John Goehrke were invited to attend Super Bowl 52 in Minnesota, where the Philadelphia Eagles will take on the New England Patriots.

The same New England Patriots who helped Goehrke get a date with Bouchard at the last Super Bowl.

In case you forgot, Goehrke tweeted at Bouchard when the Patriots were trailing the Atlanta Falcons 28-3, suggesting they go on a date if New England rallied to win. Of course, that very thing happened and a few weeks later, the couple was spotted court side at a Brooklyn Nets game.

It looked like the story was done after that, but in December, the two hung out again, adding new speculation that they might be a couple.

While that info remains under wraps, the fact that they’re going to the big game live this year certainly gives us all hope that online dating does actually work out sometimes.
