Peter Polansky could miss the Rogers Cup due to a lingering groin injury.

The Thornhill, Ont., native posted on his twitter account, “Looks like i’ll be missing Rogers Cup this year.”

Polansky missed the final match of Canada’s Davis Cup win over Ecuador because of the injury.

Polansky, ranked 291st in the world, said he was still suffering pain in the groin and he would need a few more weeks to be completely healed.

The Rogers Cup starts Aug. 5th in Montreal.
