Sharapova beats Barrois to win 22nd title

STRASBOURG, France — Maria Sharapova beat Kristina Barrois of Germany 7-5, 6-1 in the Strasbourg International final on Saturday to win her 22nd title.
The top-seeded Russian trailed 5-3 in the first set before winning seven straight games.
Sharapova is looking to get back to her best after recovering from a right elbow injury.
Barrois was playing her first final on the WTA Tour.
