WIMBLEDON, England — Iveta Benesova of the Czech Republic and Jurgen Melzer of Austria won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title Sunday by beating Elena Vesnina of Russia and Mahesh Bhupathi of India 6-3, 6-2 on Centre Court.
Benesova and Melzer did not drop a set in the tournament. Melzer claimed his second title at Wimbledon after winning the men’s doubles with Philipp Petzschner in 2010.
