Tiger Woods might make a return to competitive golf indoors.
If his body holds up, the 15-time major champion is expected to play in the TGL opener on Dec. 27, ESPN reported Tuesday.
Woods is the captain of the Jupiter Links Golf Club, which faces the Los Angeles Golf Club on opening day in a rematch of last season's final.
After another back surgery, Woods played just one TGL match last season — in the second match of the best-of-three TGL final on March 25.
The injury-plagued Woods, 50, has not played competitively since then. He was arrested for after a crash on March 27 in Florida, ending thoughts of playing in the Masters the following month.
Woods eventually pleaded no contest to charges of reckless driving and refusing to submit a lawful test, resulting in a driver's license suspension for five years.
Woods pleaded no contest Sept. 2 to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test. His driver's license was suspended for five years as part of a plea agreement.
There is a chance Woods could compete in two outdoor events before TGL, ESPN reported.
He hosts the Hero World Challenge Dec. 3-6 in the Bahamas and could also play with his son, Charlie, in the PNC Championship, Dec. 17 in 20 in Orlando.
