The UFC Winnipeg card just got a little bit more Canadian flavour.
Montreal's Charles Jourdain will take on Kyler Phillips in a bantamweight bout billed as the co-main event in the Manitoba capital, the promotion announced Thursday.
Jourdain will look to win his third fight in a row against the American Phillips after besting Victor Henry and Davey Grant in his last two spins through the octagon.
The 30-year-old Canadian owns a 17-8-1 MMA record and an 8-7-1 mark in UFC bouts.
Phillips is riding a two-fight losing streak. He last fell to Vinicius Oliveira by unanimous decision at UFC 318 in July 2025 and last beat Pedro Munhoz at UFC 299 in March 2024.
He enters April's event in Winnipeg with a 12-4 MMA record and 6-3 in UFC.
UFC Winnipeg is the first fight card in Canada since Oct. 18, when Reiner de RIdder and Brendan Allen headlined a Fight Night card in Vancouver's Rogers Arena.
Jourdain joins Tanner Boser, Julien Leblanc, Melissa Croden, Jasmine Jasudavicius and headliner Mike Malott as the other Canadians fighting on home soil in April. It'll be just the third time the UFC has visited the Manitoba capital and first since December 2017.
Malott will be challenging No. 11-ranked welterweight Gilbert Burns in the main event bout of the card.
