The bout list at UFC Edmonton continues to grow, with yet another Canadian set to enter the octagon.
Gatineau, Que., native Julien Leblanc will take on American Gilbert Urbina in a middleweight bout scheduled for Oct. 17 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, the UFC announced Thursday.
He joins a massive, Canadian-centric card featuring 13 fights, 12 of which include fighters representing Canada.
Leblanc, 34, has participated in only one fight with the UFC, losing to Robert Valentin at UFC Winnipeg in April.
Overall, Leblanc has a 10-3 record in professional MMA, with his most recent win coming on Nov. 21 in Samourai MMA — a Quebec-based organization.
Urbina, meanwhile, has a 2-3 record in UFC and a 8-4 record in pro MMA. He's coming off a TKO win over Vlasto Cepo at UFC Belgrade on Aug. 1.
This will be the fourth time Edmonton has hosted a UFC event.
The Edmonton event will also be the second Canadian card in 2026, following the Fight Night in Winnipeg in April.
