Yet another Canadian has been added to the fight card for UFC Winnipeg.
Canadian lightweight Mandel Nallo is set to make his UFC debut as he takes on British fighter Jai Herbert at the Winnipeg Fight Night on April 18, the UFC announced Thursday.
Nallo, a native of Vancouver who fights out of Montreal, earned his UFC contract on season 9 of Dana White's Contender Series back in September 2025. He hasn't fought since.
He won his deal after a first-round knockout victory over Samuel Silva in Week 4 of the competition.
The former training partner of Georges St-Pierre fought eight times under the Bellator MMA banner from 2017 to 2023. He hadn’t competed in a full year after winning Samourai MMA’s vacant lightweight title 12 months ago.
Nallo, 36, has a 14-3 record with one no contest in his pro MMA career and enters this fight against Herbert on the back of a five-fight win streak.
Herbert, meanwhile, is a 37-year-old hailing from Wolverhampton in England. He has a 13-6-1 record in pro MMA but carries a 3-5-1 record under the UFC banner, where he's fought since 2020.
He's coming off a split-decision loss to Chris Padilla in March 2025.
Overall, Nallo will be the eighth Canadian fighter entering the octagon in Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre. The card is headlined by a welterweight bout between Canadian Mike Malott and Brazil's Gilbert Burns.
