A couple of familiar faces will be front and centre serving as head coaches on the next season of the UFC’s longstanding reality series The Ultimate Fighter.
UFC Hall of Famers, current commentators and former champions Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping will lead two teams of prospects who’ll compete for spots on the UFC roster.
The UFC made the announcement Thursday and confirmed the upcoming season will feature 16 men’s bantamweight (135 pounds) and women’s strawweight (115 pounds) competitors.
There will be two eight-fighter bracket-style tournaments, with the two winners earning a multi-fight UFC contract.
Cormier and Bisping have each coached TUF twice. Cormier coached opposite Chael Sonnen on TUF 33 in 2025, and he coached TUF 27 with former heavyweight rival Stipe Miocic in 2018.
Bisping earned his way into the UFC as a TUF competitor after winning the third season of TUF back in 2006. Bisping later coached against Dan Henderson in 2009 and against Jason “Mayhem” Miller in 2011.
The 12-episode season will begin airing in June. More broadcast details will be revealed closer to the premiere date.
