Joel Álvarez will not fight Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC 315 presented by Skilled Trades College in Montreal this Saturday due to a hand issue, he announced via Instagram on Sunday.
The Spaniard stated it would have been his last fight in the lightweight class before he reportedly moves to welterweight.
Álvarez is 22-3 over his career and is currently on a three-fight win streak, while Saint-Denis has lost two straight and is looking to pick up career win No. 13.
