Miesha Tate will be making just her second octagon appearance in over five years when she clashes with fellow bantamweight Ketlen Vieira on Saturday in the main event at UFC Vegas 43 as a +100 underdog on the UFC odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Tate put an end to a four-year absence from professional MMA action this past summer, claiming a third-round TKO win over Marion Reneau at UFC Vegas 31 that boosted her pro record to 19-7 going into Saturday night's bout at UFC Apex.

Tate had stepped away from the octagon after falling to defeat in back-to-back contests in 2016, including a stunning first-round submission loss to Amanda Nunes that cost her the UFC women's bantamweight title.

While her recent victory over Reneau marked the second time she finished an opponent during her current 2-2-0 run, the 35-year-old American has also consistently demonstrated her ability to go the distance. Each of her four wins prior to submitting Holly Holm to win the title at UFC 196 came by decision, and she has received the nod from the judges on eight occasions over her career.

Listed as a -120 favourite at online betting sites for Saturday's fight, Vieira has work to do to get back on track after suffering a three-round unanimous decision loss to Yana Kunitskaya at UFC Vegas 19. The 30-year-old Brazilian also failed to make weight ahead of that clash, and her defeat marked her second in three outings after suffering a KO loss on punches to Irene Aldana just 4:51 into their tilt at UFC 245.

Elsewhere on the UFC Fight Night odds for Saturday, Sean Brady will be looking to extend his unblemished pro MMA record to 15-0 when he battles fellow welterweight Michael Chiesa as -165 chalk. Brady has quickly climbed into the UFC welterweight rankings while posting wins in his first four fights since joining the promotion two years ago. That stretch includes submission wins over Jake Matthews and Chritian Aguilera in his past two contests.

Set as a +135 underdog for Saturday, Chiesa is coming off a speedy first-round loss to Vicente Lucque at UFC 265. That defeat snapped a four-fight win streak and marked Chiesa's third loss by submission in seven outings.

Earlier on Saturday, Kang Kyung-ho takes on Rani Yahya as a -115 wager in a clash of bantamweights. Taila Santos vies for a fourth straight win as she tangles with Joanne Calderwood as heavy -360 chalk in women's flyweight action, while Adrian Yanez faces off against fellow bantamweight Davey Grant as a sizeable -310 betting favourite.
